The reason Animal Rights is significant to me is the killing and exploitation of animals for food and entertainment. It is unethical to kill and eat an animal for tradition, palate pleasure and convenience. We can live a healthy life without the torture and death of animals for the consumption of them. The animals we eat (cows, chickens, pigs and so on) are sentient beings meaning they have the capability of feeling pain, and happiness, they are aware of their environment, they all have the thing we all have the desire to live and the avoidance of pain. I believe in all animals having the right to not being exploited and murdered. The exploitation of animals like zoos, carnivals and sports is unethical. Animals are not put on this earth to entertain us. The animals in zoos become depressed and insane by being stuck in small pens. I feel better mentally and physically knowing that I am reducing the suffering and use of animals. I find it the easiest step in solving this problem. The steps I would like to take are petitioning and educating. I would start petitions on change.org for Animal Rights it is really easy to do. My next step would be educating people on Animal Rights. I would start off speaking and giving presentations to students about the Rights of Animals. Then I would take it a step further and educate adults at a community events or host my own events and present there. I believe in being vegan ,petitioning and educating are the right steps in solving this unethical
