In the case of euthanasia, killing is a justifiable act. For example “Shelters who cram more animals into cages with unsafe numbers, become so crowded that the dogs fight and injure themselves. Cats contract upper respiratory infection and disease outbreaks from dogs and cats sicken healthy animals” (Newkirk). This proves that if George didn’t kill lennie, than Curley would make sure Lennie died a miserable death, by being tortured and locked up.
