The Egyptian people were the most successful ancient civilization. They built amazing pyramids which are huge. Another reason that they were considered the most successful, is that they made amazing art! They also made many important inventions. The Egyptians had great buildings like the pyramid of Giza.They dragged huge blocks across the rocky ground to build the pyramid about 455.4 feet tall. They would put their pharaohs in and under the pyramids when they die out of respect.

The Egyptians were successful because they made amazing art. For example,they had statues of Anubis. Anubis was so special to the people because he was the god of the afterlife. Another example of art that they had was Horus,the god of the sky. Another egyptian god was Isis the goddess of life. They praised these and a lot more gods in their time.

Egypt is the best civilization because of their inventions like the calendar, the ox drawn plow, and papyrus paper invented in 4,000 BC. We still use the 12 month calendar today that helps us be places on time. They found out that the Nile River flooded every year. When they invented the 12 month calendar it helped them know when the river was going to flood. Before the calendar,when the river flooded they knew that it was a new month, and that's when they came up with the 12 month calendar. Egyptians had really good inventions that we still use today. Another invention that we still use today is paper. We use paper for almost everything today. They would make papyrus paper by harvesting the plant, cutting papyrus strips, soak it in water,pound it and let it
