That's why American society is more important than the individual, because when a member of American society grows/thrives through education or programs put forward by American society, society as a whole grows and thrives. While American society can help an individual grow and thrive, American society can also impact all the individuals part of society. Another reason as to why American society is more important than the individual, is that the American society impacts every individual in it. Whenever there was major incident in the United States like 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, Sandy Hook, Orlando Night club, and etc. every member of American society was impacted emotionally, society members were mourning the lost of its fellow members.
