“Nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law” (14th Amendment). The founding fathers of this country believed in life, life for every citizen. A controversial subject is flooding the news about this human entitlement. This headline is known as abortion, the killing an unborn child in the womb. Many people have different beliefs about the subject, but studies show that the negative outcomes heavily outweigh the positive. Abortion is morally wrong because it is murdering an innocent child, it causes psychological issues for the parents, and it denies a fetus human rights.

Each year, the woman is reminded on the birthday that might have been of their doings. Regret is one of the most powerful emotions that humans contain. It can make people do rash and inhumane things. Suicide is a reaction to the extreme remorse of cruelly killing an unborn child. People who have aborted a baby are six times more likely to commit suicide than women who deliver their baby (Carbone, 164). That unfortunate statistic is one of many reasons abortion should be restricted. Society chooses to ignore the awful things that are happening around the country.
