In Genesis 9:6, the Bible says, “If anyone takes a human life, that persons life will also be taken by human hands. For God made human beings in his own image.” God is the only one that may decide when a human life is ready to be taken from earth. This verse in the Bible is one that threatens a human toward wrongful behavior. “Justification for penal execution is the value of the victim, the “image of God.” God alone may make or dispose of a person as he sees fit.” Matthews comments are exactly how a Christian should respond when someone is for abortion. Each human is made in the image of God, and anyone that is willing to take away from that power of God will be penalized. God is the only one who may chose who is and is not fit for this world. In Matthew 19:18, Jesus replies, “You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely.” In this, Jesus is giving us commands to not do any of these sins, for they are all sinful behaviors that are punishable. Although some people do not believe that abortion is murder, God says that it is; for every human was put into the womb for a reason and anyone who takes away from that is committing murder. Though many people believe that a human is not made human until further on in the pregnancy, it has been proven that a child in the womb is made known from the very beginning. God created the child from the very first moment he gave the mother the gift. He gave a blessing to the mother to be able to carry a child into this world, and if any human takes away from that, it is deemed murder and is as much of a crime and sin as any
