A person must have the right to want or reject their education. Only that person will know what they desire in the distant future. Although too many students are enrolled into school, they have to right to choose whenever they are ready to attend college.
Students all have different ways to learn, study, teach and fight. However, if a student is completely opposite compared to others, it does not mean they should not attend school or that college is not for them. As Price states “ the pressure is so powerful that we basically tell graduates of high school that they will be losers in life if they don 't go to college”, is where we as a society go wrong (Matt Price). The more pressure we put on students to make them believe they need to go to college right after high school is the problem. As students I believe we are responsible for society 's views on what is right and what is wrong. Although I do recognize that yes, “Many people have found happiness in careers that do not require a college education” (Pharinet 681). Take for example, my older sister started off at a company for skin products in the production section and slowly she was promoted into one of the main managers all the while going to a vocational school for Medical Assistant and trying to get a degree which she accomplished. Even after all that hard work, she did not look for a job as a Medical Assistant but rather stay at the skin company because she loved her job and the career she has there. Consequently, she got her degree but did not need it because in the end she felt she found the job she wanted and loved. College/Vocational school gave her the opportunity as her right and for her benefit to truly find what she wanted to do with her
