Turns out there’s a good reason for the inflation of avocado prices. Mexico grows avocados year-round: One season usually ends in June, and another starts up in July. But this year, the June harvest was abnormally low. What’s more, a heat wave ruined much of California’s avocado crop just before the Fourth of July. The California crop has also been threatened by drought for the past few years.
But honestly why does it have to
