I am currently in Miami and I am fortunate enough to sit in on some client interviews. My director on the project is great at making every situation a learning experience. I thought that I would just be taking notes for the next three days because I have little to no clue what is going on or the lingo for this specific client, but he was able to find a section that would allow me to ask the client some question. Of course I was scared out of my mind. I wasn’t just representing myself, I was an expert to them. The client saw me as an official employee of PricewaterhouseCoopers. So of course I did not want to mess it up. Luckily it ran pretty smoothly. Luckily I was in a somewhat judgement free zone because I have a great team on this specific project that guided me and made sure I understood what was going on. That is something that I really treasure because I know they are all super busy, so for them to take time out of their day to let me gain some additional experience is definitely something that I will not take for granted.
I also had to navigate through the airport by myself for the first time. The anxiety was real. The Atlanta airport, the crowded walk ways, the escalators, the thirty minute security line was definitely something that I was not prepared for in the slightest. Luckily I found my way to my terminal with time to spare. There was definitely pressure to make sure that I impressed my team and my clients. I would hate to be the reason why the client no longer wanted to work with
