Why I Want To Volunteer

Volunteering is helping the people that are in need, or just wanting to volunteer just because that is something I want to do. If I were to volunteer, I would love to play a part in helping with the Salvation Army. Not only does give to people, it simply shows how to work together. I choose this particular opportunity because I would love to start my own business by giving to those who are in need, letting them know the meaning of giving, and telling them more about God. The Salvation Army is those help give to the people who are in need. The goal is to make sure everyone that need gets what they need. The importance is letting them know more about God and the meaning of sharing. I think I should consider this group because I do not want to see people that does not have nothing while I have nice things. I want everyone to be happy. Salvation Army helps everyone that is in need and empower people to have high self-esteem about themselves. …show more content…
I also have to be able to communicate with other people that I am surrounded by. When volunteering with the Salvation Army, I need to put in as much time as I need. Salvation Army needs as much volunteers that are willing to put in time and to really be dedicated to the job. Two of the talents that I need are good communication and knowing how to cook. The training that is done is knowing how to do things in case of emergencies, helping in the ministries, and very much more. While giving people the things that they need, it is very urgent to tell them about the love of God and the meaning of sharing. It is also important that I must attend meetings and read about the occupation that I am helping
