All of my positions have allowed me to build upon and retain skills such as developing new/review-content based-materials and grade assignments. Under all of these positions, I have held outside review sessions for one-on-one or group help and held office hours. During my time as a Zoology Lab Instructor, I have had the opportunity to develop course PPTs/materials- which I then use to review live specimens by walking through their anatomy and describe their anatomical functions; grade lab reports (composition book); create practicals (inc. answer keys); accurately calculate grades; and finally attend all lab instructor meetings. For personal use, after the first assignment and/or practical, I like to administer an anonymous survey for my students to complete. This surveys my organization, knowledge, attitude, and teaching styles- from the information collected, I like to alter my teaching techniques to better equip the course as well as the students learning styles.
