With these goals in mind I plan to work hard and not stop till I am able to say that I have accomplished…
I will achieve my goals by setting my mind 100% on these tasks. That’s how and what I’m going to do to achieve these…
A reason why I would want to go to college would because it would help get me to places I want to be in life such as helping me get a good paying job or th position I would want. Another reason why I want to go to college would also be because I want to see what it is like to attend a college and at least try it out. While in college I hope to work part time to earn some sort of income as well but if I am going to be working it is only going to be a short term job till I earn the degree I would need and land a job as either a preschool or daycare assistant. I chose to become a preschool teacher/ daycare assistant because I love working with kids and feel like I would have the things I would need to qualify me in becoming those things such…
After high school Going right into college once you graduate high school is a great choice in life that will benefit you later on. Think a couple years down the road that some of your friends decided to start college a couple years after graduating high school, and you’re walking across the stage shaking hands with your professor and receiving your master’s degree. While they’re just starting school again you’ll be looking for a degree to major in, a way to provide for yourself, and most importantly, you’ll be done with school quicker than some of your friends will. People say that college can be a life changing experience and that it can open up new doors for someone.…
I always wanted a positive life so finding an outstanding school was a priority for me. I began my research, with “the top business school for finance undergraduates.” The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University emerged as the best choice for me. For many years, I had an interest in math in which I chose finance.…
Why am I in College? “Who do you want to be when you grow up?” was a common question I heard. For an awful long time I didn’t know who I wanted to be until, I had to write a meaning of life speech for my high school senior english class.…
These goals were created at the start of High School, and I want to achieve by my graduation. Since I still have four more years, I might want to achieve more goals, or I can achieve them…
In ten years, I see myself in college, studying and working hard. The kind of work I will be doing is doing surgery on kids. The career I will have is being a pediatric surgeon. Choosing this goal is important to me because I want to help kids and people.…
I am a first generation high school graduate and college attendee. Despite my parent’s lack of educational and financial stability, they do everything in their power to support my education. However, my parents are foreign to America’s educational system and as a result I do not receive much academic guidance from them. My parents have taught me to work hard for what I want, to understand that there is a difference between failing and giving up, and most importantly, to be humble and grateful for everything that I have. I am proud to be a Hispanic- American that has the opportunity to fully indulge myself in both the Hispanic and American cultures.…
The hardest decisions often end up being the best ones to make. After seven years away from school, choosing to return to finish my degree was not an easy thing to do. I expected to be unprepared for the college environment and the rigors of formal education. To my surprise, I discovered that thanks to the skills I obtained outside of school, I was now the best student I had ever been. Once I had made the choice to put my full effort into my schooling, I saw how rewarding challenging myself can be.…
My parents are incredibly encouraging when it comes to me attending college early because they believe that I am not challenged by what my current environment offers. I am constantly trying to learn beyond what my school offers through my work, extracurriculars, or just for fun at home. They believe that it would be better for me if I go somewhere where I can explore my passions in depth, so they believe that going to college early would be the best possible route for me. In college, I hope to make the most of the resources that would be available to me.…
My goals both long and short term are all very important to my future and I hope to be able to make them all work. I hope that you will consider helping me make them all possible. Thank…
One goal I have already made for myself is within the near-future: only sixteen weeks away. By this time, I plan to have already started working on completing my FAFSA, and will be applying for other scholarships as well, while looking for local job shadowing opportunities. Furthermore, I believe that before the end of six years, I will have already earned my degree from WKCTC, and will have passed the ARRT exam to earn my certification, and will be actively seeking employment, or beginning my employment at a hospital or clinic, while moving in to my own place—the real beginning of my adulthood. Finally, I believe that by the end of fifteen years, I will be married, and already have my first of two children, while actively working as a Radiography Technician full-time—taking X-Rays and CT-Scans in order to financially support my growing family. These goals, of course, are always subject to change, as new opportunities cross my path, allowing for even more success than what I have predicted for myself.…
Even though I want to achieve the other goals, this goal is the most important. I am going to try to achieve this by studying a lot and trying to get the best grades…
I entered college unsure of what career I wanted to pursue. My interest had always been in art since I was little, but I thought I would no longer enjoy art if I turned it into a career. At first, I chose to seek a degree in business administration because wanted a degree that would offer me a variety of jobs. About halfway through completing my business degree I decided to take a college art class to see if I still would find art enjoyable as a career. I found that having to follow guidelines made me less passionate about my art.…
