In June of 2015, I began my pursuit. I worked extremely hard towards earning my general education degree by studying online. My studying reflected a strong precision and a sedulous attention to detail. I studied with two websites that I found to be extremely beneficial. I used My Illinois G.E.D and Khan University.
Once I felt like I was ready to test, I implemented a plan. I utilized a game plan in hopes of ensuring my success. I chose to test in order of the subjects that I felt were the most strenuous and exhausting first. I settled on testing in the order of English, social studies, science, math, and lastly the constitution. My anxiety was so high that I felt maladjusted. I was so nervous that I physically and emotionally felt unwell, but it wouldn’t stop me. I grabbed the heavy maroon door to the juvenile state building, and walked in as calm and collectively as possible. I was greeted by a friendly state worker. I signed in without saying a whole lot, as I was trying my best to contain my composer. The state worker then walked me back to her office. Her office was filled with photo shoots of her young little blonde haired son and family. It gave the room a warm and inviting vibe.
