Why I Want To Pursue My GPA

Beyond my LSAT score and my GPA, I am a creative individual with a penchant for learning. My career goals have fluctuated between wanting to be an attorney or a professional singer my whole life. These are two starkly different career choices that I learned would not overlap early on in my college experience. When I started university, I declared a Political Science-Music double major. After only one semester of trying to do both, I decided to drop the music major and pursue political science solely. I chose political science because I knew that the knowledge I would gain from taking the courses required for that major would provide a precedent for the coursework I would be experiencing in law school. I have always been an educationally driven student. I graduated from high school at the age of 17 with a high school diploma and an Associate of Science degree. I continued on to complete my Bachelor of Arts degree at 19. I always knew that I wanted to attend law school after I completed my undergraduate program, but I had no clue which subject I would want to focus on. I always knew my main goal as an attorney would be to help people, however, I yearned to make an impact on an international front as well. It was through taking an international relations course that I came to the realization that I desire to work in human rights law. In the next ten years, I hope that I will be working for the United Nations or with an organization such as Amnesty International.
Education is also what led me to Texas A&M Law. I participated
