Disingenuity can be seen quite often in our society. I have always avoided it. I constantly try my best to live up to the word “genuine.” I have spoken to funeral directors on the job and I was floored by their dedication and willingness to serve others. Ever since I was a child I knew I had to pursue a profession that upheld these values. My decision to pursue mortuary science fell into place over the past few years; I have always been greatly interested in anatomy and psychology, and-above all, I love honesty. I remember going to the library as a child and checking out large books that detailed human anatomy. I was astounded by how our bodies formed and changed. Even as a child, I never felt fear of death because I understood how it worked.
