Dave Ramsey has made a significant impact on my life. Naturally I am a spender when it comes to money; the more money I have, the more I spend. The more money, more expensive things I buy and I never really think about putting any of it into savings for emergencies or for a rainy day. Mr. Ramsey has shown me that saving money and growing wealthy is very possible and not as hard as I had thought it would be. I have learned so much in my econ class and through watching Dave Ramsey.…

To be that person I will have to work harder than everyone else to make it, but I’m willing to put in the time to reach my goal.…

I was born in Germany, where I was surrounded by rich European art. Most of my artwork represents places, buildings, and artists that I was exposed to while living in Germany. I was introduced to art at an early age by my mother who took me to an art museum where I began taking art lessons at. Throughout the years I developed a heartfelt passion for art and the medieval era. When we left Germany my art was still in a cartoonist style, but when we came over to the US my elementary and high school art teacher helped me develop a more realistic style that shows traces of my heritage.…

I loved film, theater, and television because it let people escape for a moment into a fictional world. As an actress, you could be someone else. But on the flip side, I’ve since learned that actors are really not supposed to be trying to act--they should be trying to portray real life. When I was in high school, I got involved in the theater program, but I didn’t think it could be a real career. So I went off to the university and pursued a degree in marketing and…

There is a moment for everyone where they realize their goals and aspirations. Once they do, nothing will stop that person from achieving their goals. For me, my whole life has led up to me pursuing a filmmaking career, and nothing is going to stop me. Film is one of many influences that made me the man I am today. In my pursuit to becoming a filmmaker, I have been blessed with friends that shared similar interest in filmmaking, opportunities to work on independent film productions as well as other short film documentaries, and motivations to be a smarter and better person.…

Getting in a good paying job is probably the most important goal that I have in the professional category this far. I think that I will be able to achieve this goal but finding a decent internship and really just branching myself out there to show my true talents to all the wonder news stations and paper companies. Tying into the job category, I really would like to find a job either working for The New York Times writing articles or working for CNN as either a News Anchor or work on the articles that the anchors will be announcing. I hope to achieve this goal by making my SRU internship in the summertime either through a big name magazine in the New York City or even being able to work for CNN for the summer whether it be for money or experience. As a student I also hope to be able to work professionally with some of the big name stars, either interviewing them for paper or…

As actors, we must come to the realization that we are not in a stable career field. With that being said, it is in our best interest to have a backup plan of other possibilities in the arts so that we do not find ourselves wailing in the idea that we went to college for nothing. I am studying theatre in the performance aspect, concentrating in acting. I am actually leaning more towards the entertainment field rather than the artistic field, which does not require any sort of theatre education on a collegiate level, however I am here because while I want to be a screen actress, I do love theatre and I need the education in case I fail in my hopes and dreams. If that unfortunate occurrence comes true, my “Plan B” is to either be a director or a playwright.…

My entire life I have always wanted to do something where I would be remembered positively by many people. I recall always telling myself I was going to become a backup dancer for a famous singer, become a singer myself, or maybe an actress. Better yet, I thought I could have been all three. As I entered middle school, I realized those goals were too surreal to even become the slightest bit possible, mainly since I am located in an area that most people haven’t even heard of. Back then, I was very uncertain about any career goals I have had.…
