Why I Want To Pursue A Career In Special Education

Union County College's educational purpose is to make my peers and I lifelong learners. Throughout the past two semesters, I have incessantly learned from the process in order to progress from completing developmental courses.The entire concept of my enrollment thus far is to be well-rounded in different educational subjects before finding which career I will contribute to best. Thus far, I can happily say I have found a deep passion for educaton. Developmental courses play a big part in that. My education has not only been about learning it is about striking an inspiration within myself and discovering something academically influential to me. I will develop quickly as a person with the route I chose to take.
My academic plan includes taking valuable general education courses that will demonstrate for myself the evolution of learning, for my major is General Education. Completing developmental English allowed me to be ready for such classes. Henceforward, the mandatory psychology courses I will encounter will sharpen my perception, and I will be better suited to accommodate diversity in the work field. The reason why I want to learn and earn these skills is to better appreciate the people or students surrounding me, for I yearn to become a teacher. Equally important to me, from problems with development in early childhood, to emotinal struggles later in life. Finding potential struggles is important to learn, whether I discover it in myself or others. By understanding what is supposed to be normal and what is not I will be able to help people get help sooner. This will allow me to teach objectively because my sole purpose is to be vigilant in order to be certain success can be attained in each student. I will use this information throughout my college life to tackle any obstacles or weaknesses I may
