Why I Want To Pursue A Career In Football

The career field that I am very interested in pursuing is Physical Education Teaching and
Coaching. I’m pursuing this career for many reasons, one being that I have a passionate love for football and I would love to educate high school students.
A coach's job is to train amateur athletes as well as possible and to teach them the fundamental skills of the sport they play. A coach's goal is to improve and perfect the athlete's form, technique, and stamina. Coaches prepare athletes for games by arranging practices when they can point out the areas of correction the athlete needs. Besides refining individual skills, the coach is also responsible for instilling good sportsmanship and team spirit, which are crucial during a game. Many high school

On average an Arkansas High School Football Head Coach/Teacher averages

47,000 for their yearly salary. Depending how far their team makes it in the playoffs depends on how big their bonus is for that year, and if they make it to the State Championship and win then that coach will be expecting a big raise the next season.
My plan after High School is to attend Henderson State University and study in Physical
Education Teaching and Coaching. On average for a four year bachelor's degree will cost $14,000 to
$15,000. After college I plan to start my career at a High School in Arkansas or Texas as a defensive assistant coach and work my way up the chain to be a head coach and to do that after I get the defensive assistant coach I will apply to be the defensive coordinator and then apply to be the head coach and I hope to lead my team to multiple State Championships.
The reason I’m truly interested in the career is I love the sport of football with all my heart.
