Why do I want to get a college education? College has always been an expectation of mine, surrounding family, and friends. All my educational life I have worked towards one goal, to attend college. I am currently the only one who has not attended college yet within my family. A college education to me means that I get to follow my major, meet new people, and get to move on into my post-college adult working life. College is just the start, to catapult me into my hard working life. I want to always make a product out of something, for college this would be no different.

Attending college and receiving a high level of education means I get to study what I want to do after college is completed. Following my major into the real world and making a living from what I have learned in college. A major or degree does not define who you are, but a degree that you have worked so hard for will make it a lot easier after graduating from college. Obtaining a degree is the sole purpose of attending college, it outlines what the future is going to have.. So, why do I want to get a college education? I want to follow follow my degree and create a healthy positive lifestyle for me and the people around me.

Through meeting people from clubs, study groups, and athletics. Meeting new people in college will just keep adding to the list that I can call friends. Making new friends with the same thoughts and careers in mind is always a benefit, student work will be more fun to study and learn, outside the classroom will never be lonely.
