Why I Want To Graduate High School

In order for me to become a lawyer, I first have to graduate high school which will be in the year 2018. In order for me to graduate high school I need at least 24 credits. At the moment I have 14 credits with 7 credits in progress. Meaning that by the end of my junior year i will have a total of 21 credits. So then in my senior year I will only have to take 3 classes and get an abbreviated schedule. Overall though to get into a law school you have to take the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test). Also law schools examine our background, grades, GPA. But before that step comes into play I would have to get my undergraduate degree (JD). The law schools recommend any future lawyer to take courses that enhance their skills. Such courses should help develop the following skills: critical analysis, problem solving, research, critical reading, project management, time management, listening comprehension. speaking, and writing. I will also have to get the Doctor of Comparative Law (DCL). …show more content…
These electives that I choose should be the ones that help me achieve the goals in Knowledge. That I believe will help me in the certain area of law that I want to pursue a carrier in. After doing research I have come to the early conclusion that some elective classes I will hope to take will be: Legislation and regulation and Corporate Practice. Overall though I will want to be a prosecutor and then after a couple of years become a defense attorney. My whole secondary education will take a least eight years to complete for me to become a lawyer. I will also minor in
