Why I Want To Graduate High School Essay

There is a massive number of dropouts in the U.S. that is causing a national crisis - why would I want to contribute to the problem ? In my resume I point out specific grounds on why I should graduate high school, one of which being where I’m able to work and manage my schooling at the same time. I am able to go to school on time and complete what is needed by 11:25 everyday to later then go into work at 12:00 pm. Before having a job I was able to manage high school sports to help others when needed. I also managed playing sports myself, participating in 3 other club soccer teams outside of school. I practiced from 6-8 everyday and played in matches Fridays - Mondays. On one of the club teams I was on , I volunteered to coach kids from …show more content…
After 2-3 hours of coaching I would go home and put everything together for what I needed ready for school the next day. With my time spent in high school I had the chance to think about where I wanted to be in the future, in five years I am set to believe that I will be in a New York community college studying my core classes for 2-3 years then later transferring to Columbia University where I will progress in majoring in the field of physical therapy. Despite all of the schooling, I hope to become a physical therapist to kids who are born physically incapable of moving certain parts of their body on their own. I plan on moving out before the age of 18 because I personally believe that I am one responsible enough to make more advance life decisions but also with the input of those who are more skilled and know more about the situations. As a high school graduate, I will be able to contribute greater amounts to local state and federal taxes than those who have not completed high school throughout my career. These contributions will go to schools, and public programs that will help promote and develop safe communities. I’ve already put myself ahead in attempting to graduate high school one year early, so far I have met all of my required credits in

In the summer you can find me busing tables and answering to the hangry tourists that dine at Bar Harbor Restaurant. Eight hour shifts, seven days a week, but on the occasional slow days I’d get to cut out early so my summers are still filled with adventure.
