Huffington post says that “Young adults with just a high-school diploma earned 62 percent of the typical salary of college graduates.” Only making $0.62 for every dollar I could have made if I had gone to college is a lot of lost sense. This is my second reason for going to college.
My third reason for choosing to go to college is to increase my intelligence. The average high school graduate has an IQ of 92.18, while the average college student has an IQ of 100.54. That is a gap of over 8 points chosen by whether or not someone can go to college to make more money, have a better job, and have a higher IQ
