The first time my brother came back home for break he could not stop talking about how great it was to attend Virginia Tech, so the first college I thought of when I was asked where I wanted to attend college was Virginia Tech. The idea of living in a family-like community that values service to others so much was what drew me in the most; I believe that giving back to my community is one of the most important things in life and I would love to be surround by people that have the same belief. The student population is also diverse, which I believe will assist me in discovering new points of view and learning about different cultures. The quantity of clubs and organizations available fascinated me; I will have plenty of opportunities to meet
