Decent Essays
The reason I want to join the Martha Jefferson Hospital’s Junior Volunteer program is because I want to help people and figure out what I want to do after I leave high school. Figuring what I want to do after high school is a hard decision to make. I am getting closer in becoming an adult so I need to find out what my strengths and weaknesses are.

What I expect the experiences I am going to have at the hospital is a good working environment. I think that I will learn a lot about responsibility and attentiveness. I think that after this I will figure out what I will do after high school. Helping people out is a good feeling to have so this is a good place to be.

Also, I want to earn my 40 hours of community involvement for my Ontario Secondary School Diploma as I have a lot of spare time this summer, and that I can focus on the academics within the duration of high school. Volunteering earlier helps me prepare for high school as I want to continue volunteering in the school setting (such as applying for a student council position). In conclusion, serving in VBS this summer would mean the world to me, as I want to take a leadership role and to have an impact on children, like how the leaders who taught me positively affected me.…
