I hope that AVID will prepare me for college and help me grow and learn when I'm in high school. First, I can’t imagine not going to college, and I am excited about the opportunities a college education presents. I would like a good job to support me and my family. I want to think more about the world and my place in it. Albert Einstein once said “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of minds to think.” My goal is to be able to communicate with people and to understand and help them. Next, my favorite activities are art and ceramics. I have taken a ceramics class every summer since I was eight years old. I hope to do these in high school.
