Why I Want To Become A Scholarship

One of the most significant milestones that I have incurred in my life is the opportunity I have accomplished by becoming an undergraduate at the University of Central Florida. This campus has granted me a world of contingencies that I could have never imagined myself to be engaged in; opening my eyes to far more than what I had expected when entering. As a former International Baccalaureate student, I do understand the utter importance of not being forgetful with giving back to the community while pursuing desired ambitions. A chief cause of high college dropout rates is due to troubles that students encounter with paying tuition. This would contribute to the UCF community by ensuring that students are receiving as much information and assistance with financial burdens they may have. The Dr. Tee Collins Scholarship would enable for me to achieve this by being a source of encouragement to achieve these desired tasks. This scholarship would also increase my motivation to become an investment banker. One other main goal I have with giving back to the campus community would be joining the efforts of the Knight Pantry. Aiding those who have fallen hungry based on given circumstances has always been of importance in my life, as seen with the dedicated hours of community service towards Feeding Tampa Bay. The knowledge that I would be assisting my fellow campus colleagues would be a humble experience. This scholarship would aspire the devotion I have for this cause and further me to help those who are famished in the general Orlando populace.
