Why I Want To Become A Registered Nurse

After researching job opportunities extensively, I was able to narrow down what I want to do with my career and it will affect the life. I decided early on while looking at the cluster options that health sciences was my favorite option of all of them. The medical field has always greatly interested me, and I am very good at interacting with people, taking care of people, and genuinely caring about the wellbeing of others. I am very responsible and trustworthy. I am also a positive and happy person and nobody wants a “Debbie Downer” as their nurse. Nurses are there for people and I think I would suit that job incredibly well. Now I just have to consider what I have to get to the point where I can do what I want and do it with grace. I have decided that with all of my skills and interests and work values, I want to be a registered nurse, and I want to work with children. I hope to work on the mother-baby unit of a hospital. I need to take specific classes in high school which I have already listed but in order to even get into nursing school, you have to do extremely well in high school. You have to be committed to getting good grades in high school. You can’t just go through school thinking that it is all about fun and games, you need to worry about your education and you need to think about what is best for you and what will benefit you. You have to pick the right classes and get your studying habit how you need them to be. If I want to even make it through nursing school, you have to do very well in high school. If you can’t handle the stress of high school, you definitely can’t make it through nursing school. Being a nurse is definitely not easy and it is a lot of hard work and a serious
