I also love volunteering within the community. Every year I help with a walk that supports kids with Angelman Syndrome. I also help clean up the Quittapahilla Creek when bad storms hit the town, and I coach youth basketball and field hockey. I have always had a passion for school and I am very involved. I played both varsity field hockey and varsity basketball since my freshman year. I am also the class secretary and I help coordinate things like prom, fundraisers, graduation, etc. I love working and saving money. I worked as a waitress for three years, which helped me develop social skills. I now work at the Children’s Place so I can interact with kids and have fun while I am working. I love spending my free time with my family and doing fun activities with them. My goal in life is to be able to help people or animals who are helpless. A lot of people go to college for careers that make substantial incomes, but I want a meaningful career where I can make a difference in peoples’ lives. This makes me more and more excited to attend college
