Why I Want To Become A Pediatric Physician

Five, six, seven, eight! Point! Smile! Energy! These are words that not only have I heard countless of times throughout my experience as a dancer but are words that have positively impacted my life. Although Dance hasn't been a part of my life for a long time, in the time that it has been, it's changed me for the better and made me who I am today. Dance has taught me more than how to leap, turn, or kick, It has taught me the importance of passion, commitment, and how to push myself beyond my limits. Because my hope is to become a Pediatric Physician, with perseverance, determination, and engagement which I gained from dancing the past three years, I will then use these attributes to assist me in my college career and in becoming a physician. As a High School student, I have always aspired to be a Pediatric Physician. Throughout my High School career, I took multiple medically related courses and participated in extracurriculars such as, health science, medical terminology, anatomy. physiology and AP Biology. As the years went by, my eagerness to gain knowledge in the health science field grew, and it has inspired me to continue furthering my education in medicinal studies. After putting in all the hard work and dedication in school for my university goals. I will then attend medical school and diligently strive for my PhD.
