My passion from the first day I walked on the naval base was to care for the men and woman who have so bravely gave his or her life for my freedom, a decade later it is still my desire; with the many years of critical care experience conjoined with the military nursing training, and an advance practice degree as a MHNP, I would be prepared to meet the patient assignments holistically to care for the military population. The goal is to work for the military as a government service (GS) provider; due to the long wait time for appointments and the shortage of advance practice mental health providers, it is imperative and my duty to complete the mission of becoming a MHNP.
