Why I Want To Be Homeless

Nobody wants to be homeless. When people conflict with their family, some of them may have a thought of running away from their home, but almost none of them want to be truly alone. Indeed, majority of people prefer to be with their family members rather than sleep on an unknown street, but in fact, homeless people have the same thought as well as ordinary beings.
Based on what I experienced, I believe I would like to live in a world without homelessness. “Homeless people, they are still human beings, please do not treat them like garbage”.
I heard this from a man named Billy, who was our tour guide when I volunteered in Portland last spring break. Billy had an unsheltered experience for years, and he not only knows things about the city, but also understands the feeling of homelessness. In his point of view, if people are not

When I was in primary school, I encountered a homeless old lady. She wrote her terrible life experiences, such as she is dumb or have no money to buy food, on a corrugated paper. There was also a quilt aside her, which looked like somebody was sleeping under it. “My daughter” She explained. At that moment, I was shocked by everything I just saw and gave her all the pocket money I had. After a week or two, one of my classmates told me that old homeless lady is a fraud, and everything I saw was her begging trick. I did not believe anything my classmate said until I encountered that old lady again, at the same street, with the same corrugated paper. She was talking on a smart phone while I walked by. Also, there was empty under that quilt. Since then, I met so many people who played similar tricks as that old lady did. Nevertheless, sometimes these pretended beggars carries a infant with them and asks for money. They may be fraud, but I give them all of my small change and warn them this money is not for liars, but the innocent
