The story of my search What do you want to be when you are older? I know I have had this question asked to me all the time, have you? My answer, I want to be a orthopedic. I have started to ask myself how do I get there? What do I have to do? What schools do I want to go too? What classes do I have to take?

I already knew that I wanted to go to Duke. I knew Duke had a really good orthopedic program. I knew a orthopedic worked on the branch of medicine dealing with the correction of deformities of bones or muscles. I knew that I wanted to be an orthopedic for my job when I’m older. I did not know much more about what I have to do to become a orthopedic or a more indepth explanation of what they do.

Since I want to become a orthopedic when I go up, I wanted to figure out what I need to know about the human body to become an orthopedic. Do I need to know just about bones, or just about muscles, or about everything in the human body. How can I learn what I need to learn and what do I have to learn?

The more specifically I look at at all my information and every time I looked a question up the first thing that always showed up was the education you needed to become an orthopedic. I realized that a better question for my project that could help me a lot more in the future to become an orthopedic was: What steps do I have to take in education to become an orthopedic physician?
