The sound of all kinds of complicated equipments tingling by my ear, the smell of medical alcohol flowing in the air, I lay on the dental bed in my orthodontist Dr.Ke’s clinic. A thin layer of sweat covers his forehead, but his hands are steady and gentle. Though his thick glasses, I look into his eyes. Deep down, I see concentration, persistence, and 100% care for his patient, and that is when the idea of being an orthodontist emerged in my mind. I want to bring beauty to people; I want to show my care to my patients as if they are my family; what’s more, I want to serve the others with my knowledge and ability. Next steps towards becoming an orthodontist requires an education that will teach me the scientific knowledge and skills needed. After conducting some research on programs, I have found that UMich is perfect for me. …show more content…
