As a young child, I was like many others who loved art. I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. The scribbles on paper, in which I thought was my best work, did not hold up as long as I would have thought and soon other subjected made more of an appeal to me. I then developed a love for math. I believe this is because it was a subject that made sense to me, so it quickly became my favorite. The concepts and problems that we had to do in math were easy for me. Math class was my favorite of the day. As the work we did got progressively harder over the years, the concepts and problems got more challenging, but the subject remained my favorite. Reading, on the other hand, was something that I struggled a lot with. I had a slow start on learning how to read and that caused a dislike for it over the years. It wasn’t until high school that I found myself enjoying reading and doing it on my own
