Why I Want To Be A Registered Nurse

After graduation, I am going to get my CNA license at FlatRock. While getting my CNA license, I would like to maintain a steady job at their nursing home they provide. When I finish my clinicals for the CNA license, I will need to take the state boards test. Once I have the license, I would like to go to IU East and get a bachelors degree in Applied Science in order to become a registered nurse. To me, becoming an RN would be absolutely amazing. You get to create personal relationships and take care of adults, elders, and children all day. I think helping people out on a daily basis is the right job for me. Several of my family members are nurses or doctors at Reed. Once I am an RN, I would like to go back to college and possibly become a radiation therapist. In my future, while going to college, I think I would move to Richmond, Indiana, with my grandma so I can take care of her and have a job at Reed Hospital while getting my degree. I would use my job at Reed to help my grandma pay some bills for letting me stay with her. …show more content…
I am charismatic, not selfish, I love to help others any time that I can, I have confidence, I am accountable, I am optimistic, and I am self-motivated. I do not look for others for direction in order to accomplish something. I am a leader.
Some personal goals that I have are finishing vocational and high school with technical academic honors and graduating college with academic honors. My sister also went to IU East and graduated with academic honors so I would like to follow
