Some trades here at the San Diego Job Corps I am looking to go into Certified Nursing Assist also known as CNA Why did I choose to be a CNA is because I enjoy helping others who may not be able to perform certain things on there on due to whatever health issues they may be facing. I have an Aunt that is also in the nursing field. She has said many good things about being a nurse. But we all know that nursing requires a lot of patients. The role of a CNA will vary based on where you may work or live. Nursing Assistants can work in a variety of work settings such as nursing homes for the elderly, hospitals, personal homes, and assistant living facilities just to name a few work places for nursing assistants. I have chosen San Diego Job Corps because the previous school I attended I just felt like I was not succeeding the way I should have been. I feel like with this program I will be very successful in receiving my High School Diploma as well as completing my trade at the same time. Why? I enjoy working both in groups and alone depending on what type of work needs to be done. Why do I enjoy working in groups well I enjoy working in groups because I’m not one to sit in silence to long. I love being around people I am a very big peoples person who also has their quiet moments just like everyone else. What person wouldn’t want to work alone sometimes unless they may have some type of condition that requires them to either be alone or to be around others. When working in groups there tends to be more brains working together instead of just one person having to wreck their brain just to figure out stuff. Working in groups is a much easier process at the end of the day.
