Why I Want To Be A Nurse Anesthetist

A Nurse Anesthetist is the career advancement that I am looking for after I have become a Registered Nurse. Nurse Anesthetist interact with the patient through the whole process of a surgical procedure. They are to talk to them about what to expect. They are constantly watching them during surgery, and they check up on the patient after as well. I feel that a Nurse Anesthetist is the right career for me because I want a patient to know that they are not alone through any surgical procedure. I want to be able to make sure that they will stay safe and comfortable throughout the time I am providing care to them. They have to be able to work without getting distracted. I always was good at talking to others and paying attention to detail. So, I could always notice when a problem is happening. But, my first instinct is to come up with a plan that shows all possible outcomes. A Nurse Anesthetist is the ultimate career that I want because of the education requirement is the same amount that I would like to spend in college, which is eight years. I never planned to stop my training once I receive my bachelor's degree, I always wanted to go further than that. I told myself that I should get my masters degree after I graduate college because I just want to prove to myself that I can be successful at anything. The education requirement to be a Nurse Anesthetist is to obtain a master's degree, which is the amount I want to spend in school.
