H.V.A.C. The career field of H.V.A.C. is a quickly growing field of study. It has a very high employment rate and it is projected to have a very high increase in the near future. The history of H.V.A.C. is quite simple, actually. What started as simple fans and wood fires, it has turned into huge AC units and in-home heaters. In this paper I will talk about the career requirements and qualifications, the working conditions and salary, what a typical day on the job is, what I’ll need in the future to further my career, why I am interested in this career, and the interview I conducted about the career of H.V.A.C.
CAREER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS To become an HVAC technician you have to complete an apprenticeship. This requires you to have at least 2000 hours of on the job training. You will achieve these hours by simply assisting the master technician on various jobs and tasks. You also need to have great customer service skills, have the ability to pay attention to detail, good mechanical skills, and have physical strength. This job would be a good fit for me because I can get along easily with people and I have somewhat decent mechanical skills.

Being an HVAC technician can be a little dangerous sometimes. It has one of the highest injury rates out of all other occupations.
