Why I Want To Be A Criminal Investigator Essay

I always wondered why people would want to become criminal investigators, until I wanted to be one. This career in itself is very interesting and very inspiring to me. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to help people. Whether it was in a small way or big way I always wanted to be the one who helped out in anyway I could.The desire for becoming a criminal detective was the five words “protect and serve the people”. The honorable career of law enforcement is not always easy to enter .There are many requirements for being promoted and earning the position in this particular field. Additionally to the rigorous application process, there is training, educational steps and other requirements necessary to remain in the career. After my education process, I will work on training to become a police officer by attending the police academy to further my educational process. While being a police officer, I will apply for the various position of becoming a criminal investigator and wait to be promoted to the position. In regards of my current career planning, I conducted my research by analyzing the words “criminal investigator”, educational requirements, job outlook, description of career, and work environment. My research began by doing modern research by searching on the internet and talking with people within the field. Having a career in the criminal justice is mentally, physically and emotionally but very rewarding.
