College will help me achieve my dreams and plans when I become an adult. I want to follow a career in forensic science as a crime scene investigator. I’ve always found death scenes to be interesting and if I keep studying and working hard I will get there. It’s important to me that I learn to be responsible and confident in myself. College teaches me to depend on myself and allows me to find the right job that will fit me the best. It’s a new beginning because it opens me up to new opportunities and new experiences that I have never done before. It makes you get a feel for what it feels like to be an adult and makes me understand that it’s not as easy as it seems. It’s not just about assignments and tests. It’s also about having fun! I get too see many different people from around the world and make new friends. College makes me see the world in a different perspective and shows me that I am pretty much on my own. It’s up to me if I turn in my assignments or not. I have many options to choose from what major I want to be in and it gives me information on how long it will take me to go into the career I want to be in. …show more content…
The more I put in effort, the better it will lead me to having a bright future to look forward too. College is transitioning me to a more mature and responsible student. It makes me prioritize on what assignment I should get done and which ones I can save and do later. More freedom means more time to do your work and study. If I fail a class my professors won’t be reminding me about it like they did in high school. They won’t call my parents, won’t give me warnings about my grades. I have to be concerned about them and if I don’t understand something I have to be able to ask questions.
