Why I Want To Be A Cosmetology Essay

Since I was a child, my favorite occupation has been a cosmetologist and it has remained my favorite job. I have always wanted to be in the cosmetology field. Makeup and hair have always been a big interest of mine so cosmetology would be a practical choice for me and my lifestyle. I constantly watch videos on how to do different hairstyles and different makeup techniques. Cosmetology is very interesting and I enjoy doing the thing in that field of work. I first became interested in cosmetology when my mom’s friend started to cut and color my hair and I became very interested in the process and the whole thing all together. Seeing before and after transformations of hair when it is cut and colored is amazing to me and I love to watch videos on it and see it happen. Learning how to do new hairstyles and different ways to add texture or what things are good or bad for your hair strike a great interest in me and I could watch and read things about it all day. Learning about what brushes and products work the best is very intriguing to me. Along with makeup and cosmetology, I love skincare and taking care of my face in order to keep a clean surface to practice new makeup techniques and test new products. It is very important to have a clean face that is immune to your skincare routine when trying out a new makeup product so that you know if that product is compatible with your skin. Makeup companies are always coming out with new products so it is easy to stay intrigued in the cosmetology field. Things in the cosmetology field are always changing and there are always new things to learn, which is why I am so fascinated by this field of work.
