Why I Want To Be A Band Director

In the last few years, I have given immense thought into my future. I have made the decision to become a band director, and there are a few steps I must perform in order to accomplish that goal. I feel confident in my abilities to fulfill this goal due to of all my years of leadership roles in 4-H. in 4-H, I had much responsibility, and many people relied on me to accomplish various jobs, so with a goal in which I rely on myself, it feels highly possible for me to be able to achieve it.
If my course of action to become a band director is in place, I must start graduate high school. In fact, I am ahead of this goal since I have been concurrently enrolled at Murray State College for almost three semesters, and I will have attended for four semesters once I graduate high school. While I am finishing up this step, I am simultaneously starting the next step, finding the right college, which will be a rigorous search but definitely worth the time.

I can be an assistant director until I feel the time is right to finish my studies, and following that I can begin work as a full-time band director. This process with take years of work, studying, and practicing to the point of extreme, but the job and career fulfillment is beyond worth the rigorous work involved in the world of music.
