Why I Want To Attend College?

There are many reasons why people would want to go to college. In this essay I will explain why I want to go to college. However, I will first tell you about why it’s important to go to college. First, college can give people a taste of what it’s like to be on their own without their parents and preparing them for when they graduate. Another reason is that college gives people an advantage on getting better jobs. Lastly, college can keep you financially stable in the future. Now I will tell you why I want to go to college. My first reason for going to college is to raise the chances of me having a good hold on life. For example, I want a good house, car, and etc. A good hold on life will allow me to focus on more important things such as my career, family, and friends. I don’t to pay bank loans and always worry about bills and taxes. Also, I want to be able to support the ones I care about, not rely on them constantly. Independence is an very important factor in life. Furthermore, I want to go to college so it’s easier to pursue my dream career. I’m aware that on the surface, marine biology doesn’t seem very helpful to others as a doctor or fireman. However, marine biology can be more helpful than what meets the eye. The ocean can be a dangerous place; without knowing what you’re doing, you can end up in serious trouble. Marine biologist can tell you about ocean wildlife, plantlife, temperatures, and how to best survive in certain situations. I am more interested in the wildlife aspect. The way I can help the public is by discovering new species and determining whether they are helpful or harmful to the environment. This leads to another topic: the environment.
