Why I Want To Attend College Essay

Decent Essays
In my admittedly vague future plans, there was never a question mark next to college. Every career choice idea that intrigued me required a degree, so college was a given. However, I never thought about why I wanted to attend college. The obvious answer is that I need a degree. More than that, however, I want to learn and grow in the knowledge that I obtain at college. I love to learn, to share, to debate, to discuss, and to open my mind to new ideas. College is the perfect place to do that. I hope to graduate as a more well-rounded person, with knowledge that will enhance my critical thinking and allow me to be the best person I can be. A college education is hardly worthwhile just for a degree; I want to get more out of my college experience
