Why I Want For A University Essay

The reason why I want to be in University is that I long for more job opportunities in future. As opposed to generations of the past, high school graduates today are unable to obtain the number of high-paying jobs that were once available. The U.S. has been transformed from a manufacturing-based economy to an economy based on knowledge, and the importance of a college education today can be compared to that of a high school education forty years ago. It serves as the gateway to better options and more opportunities. Nowadays, more and more companies want to get highly educated employees. So being in University gives us a golden chance to find a good job, make more money and improve the quality of life. There are additional reasons why I want to be in University. When I experience a post secondary education, I have the opportunity to read and listen to the lectures of top experts in their fields. This stimulation encourages me to think, ask questions, and explore more new ideas, which allows for additional growth and development and provides college graduates with an edge in the job market over those who have not experienced a higher education. As far as I’m concerned, people should develop themselves in many aspects but not one aspect. So when I am in University, I spend several years developing myself in many aspects. By the time I work out, I have a variety of options. In my opinion, there are many college students in the world, which means that I have to compete with them…
