I succeed in all subjects by working persistently and with the help of my teachers. In order to succeed in my classes, I work incredibly arduously. My teachers learn considerably quickly that I am not the typical student who sits and listens during class. They soon discover that I ask an abundance of questions. If I remain unsure about something, I continue to attempt the problem until I understand. Growing accustomed to my questions, many of my teachers now look at me when explaining things to see if I require more elaboration. Along with asking questions in class, my teachers allow meetings for additional help if I need it. I regularly visit my teachers’ classrooms before school to ask about an upcoming test or even advice on how to study effectively. Moreover, my teachers are a great source of encouragement for me. They constantly mention how proud they are of my accomplishments. My teachers also express their appreciation for my determination to understand the content because it shows that I genuinely care about succeeding in their class. Actually being able to have proper etiquette of holding a tennis racquet was key, but being able to hit a tennis ball was a ‘whole other ball game.’ All two years of playing tennis in middle school I can not remember a single time me nor my tennis partner won a match.…
