Why you should put your art out there while you’re still young

Many young artists believe they shouldn’t start selling, or showing off their artwork because of their age. This is one hundred percent untrue. No matter how old you are, you should start working towards your goals. For a long time I felt like I couldn’t start reaching for my goals because they were big and I was small. We’ve all heard the quotes about success: “Successful people don’t become that way overnight,” “your true success in life begins only when you make the commitment to become excellent at what you do,” “what separates the talented ones from the successful ones is a lot of hard work,” but which ones should we believe? There must be a happy medium; a universal definition for success. Grit, a novel written by Angela Duckworth, defines success as something we must obtain through a “never give up” attitude. She values motivation over a natural talent, because those with the motivation are more often successful compared to those with talents, who may not strive to improve on their innate abilities. You must fulfill your potential, or else it is a waste of talent and you will never be as successful as you could be.…

As an individual person, everyone has their own standard for an artwork is meaningful or not. In my opinion, to decide an artwork is meaningful or not is to decide the artwork if can be used in our life and if the artwork is useful or not. For example, a mug is a meaningful artwork in my opinion because it can use to drink coffee and it also can as a decorative cup when people put it on the table. Therefore, a meaningful artwork is always a useful artwork. On the other hand, to talk about why does art matter to people.…

“I think you just have to be authentic and whatever kind of way that’s essential of what it should be about.” As this quote said by Annina Roescheisen, an German-Slovenian multimedia artist, she explains that in order to be an artist you don’t need an education, you only need to “authentic” and to be able to express your opinions and feelings.
