Why I Should Go To Homestead High School

Friends are important to me. “Make new friends, but keep the old.” This quote perfectly illustrates my attitude towards this situation. I think should go to Homestead High School. There are many reasons why I believe this, and some of them are about Lynbrook academics but mostly it is that none of my good friends are going there. To begin, Marching Band is not one of my favorite things. As you have observed over the last 14 years, I do not like exercise. It is basically my least favorite activity. Another one of my least favorite things is memorization. Memorizing things is one of the hardest things one can do. This combined with exercise does not make a good match for me. I cannot exercise and I cannot memorize well. Furthermore, Lynbrook is a very competitive school. I do not do well with competition as it tenses me up. Going to Homestead would be a much better improvement.

The second and most significant reason is about my friends. I have made a lot of good friends at Cupertino Middle School. But that took me about 2 months at the beginning of 6th grade. I ended up sitting with them for the entire 6th grade. However the next year, we had a misunderstanding that I took as them not wanting me in their group anymore. And so I joined Sophia’s group. I understand where you’re coming from. In order for me to go to the school of my choice, someone must drive me there. I know it seems like a lot. To drive to Homestead every day for four years. I have went on Google Maps and put in Homestead’s address. It is only a matter of 15 minutes everyday to make my social and academic life improve tremendously. And if you want to take away my computer or phone for a month, or if I have to take summer school, or anything, I’ll do it if it means I can go to
