The vast spectrum of knowledge, skills obtained, and experiences from a college degree more than compensates for the monetary cost of tuition. Creating art is my passion; I have always wanted to become a great artist ever since I was a child drawing on my walls and copying pictures from books. I have devoted my life to improving my talents by illustrating my own stories, practicing drawing daily, and challenging myself to earning my own money doing what I love by drawing commissions. Learning how to communicate through illustration is a valuable skill that will live with me for the rest of my life and progressing my artist career.…

Growing up I never had a clear idea of what I wanted to do as a profession. No inclination of something that amazed me or pushed me toward it. I eventually chose what I thought would be a good stable career simply because it would be a financially good choice but it never seemed like something I could stick with or love. I discounted anything from the medical field because everyone was going there and I didn't want to be a lost number of people rushing to the same career, I wanted to be a little different.…

With age your love and passion for things can change and be altered. My idea of a dream job has changed from a ceramist, then a vet, to a teacher, and finally an actuary. I have been Graphic Designing for about two months as of now, and I believe that I am on my way to becoming a good graphic designer. My journey as a graphic designer started when I wanted to make an aesthetically pleasing edit of a snow covered tree that I had stumbled upon on Pixabay. I put a Lorde song quote (sorry I love her work) in the corner and fixed up a few parts of the original picture. Though I do live on the virtue of originality, I understand that the original picture was not mine, yet I needed to start somewhere on the ladder of Graphic Design experience. I have recently been making posters and banners to prepare for this application process.…
