I believe I should be awarded this scholarship since, as a senior in highschool, I am determined to attend college and to achieve the highest degree of success and excellence. The main factor in my life that is stopping me from achieving this dream is the price tag of education. Yes, college students receive millions of dollars in financial aid, but most aid is determined by need. In my situation, my parents make too much money to be considered as in need, but they make too little to be able to pay off my future college tuition without a worry.
